On Wednesday February 18th at 6:30pm students will be competing in the HOPE Charter School Oratorical Contest based on the theme ”Why African Americans should have HOPE for their future, and my contribution to that end.” Three finalists will be picked from each grade level to present their speeches in front of the panel of judges assembled with various board members and other invited guest judges. An assistant professor of surgery at Temple University School of Medicine where she is also the Director of the Center for Minority Health and Health Disparities.
